Melbourne Life Instyle 2013
Last week’s Melbourne Life Instyle event was set inside Melbourne’s beautiful Royal Exhibition building. I had been to events here before but never have I seen it so crammed full of designer goodies. I swear they somehow increased it to twice the size than the last time I was there - and I had the blisters and aching calves to prove it!
Unfortunately, my BFF and I were so caught up dragging each other between stands, squealing (yes, big girl squealing!) and jumping on the spot in excitement that I completely forgot to take any onsite pix. No excuse, but, well, we were basically sprinting between stands since they were all so beautiful and we only had a few hours away from kids in which to see it all. Although if you ask our wonderful husbands, we were gone much longer than anticipated! I may have to do another post on some of the best designs because we saw them pre-release and I prefer to let the actual designers launch their products (and not get in any trouble - no-one likes a PO’d artist!)
Here are some of my favourite stands from the show and their pretty pretty wares.

So brand spanking new that they don’t have a website as yet but I can give you their contact deets if you want them and I will keep you posted on this super hot team!}

{So many fantastically quirky designs, so hard to choose! TT-Zone tea towel by Able and Game}
{TT-Totes. The totes amaze balls illustrations of Able and Game come in tea towel, card, calendar and mug form}
{I do have myself a bit of Seahorse love and these (FSC Certified) wood block prints by One Hectare would sit happily in my study or imaginary beach house}
{Dan Adams’ stunning graphic illustrations under the brand I Ended Up Here. Absolutely love those playing card designs}

{Rock concrete ring via Boxcar Orange. Fell in love with this on the day but think I might save it for some special occasion… like taking the bins out or finishing a blog post

{4th Dimension Concrete table clock via Boxcar Orange. They had an absolutely to-die-for concrete watch on show as well that should be available later this year - soooo going on the chrissy list!}
{Aura by Tracie Ellis, Cable knit throw in Ocean. They have lovely knits and winter warm woolies at the moment}
{Mozi’s Tropicalia collection, classic candle in Sea Grape. What I actually want to show you is ‘The Sailor and The Siren’ Collection arriving in October 2013, but I think that scanning the trade book and leaking the images to you all might be just a bit too naughty - plus I don’t want to get Mozi off side since I have my eye on the gorgeous massive Siren floor cushion! Rest assured I will be doing an ocean flavoured post once the range has been officially released!}
